Well let's start with the drip system, this is what waters all your plants and trees.  There are four different sizes of tubing, the .620 which has a green strip on the tube, .700 which is just a black tube, .720 which has a blue strip on the tube which is so close to .700 you can use the same fitting on both and people call 1/2" tubing. The .940 which has a gray strip and is call 3/4" tubing. So when you need a fitting like a tee or 90 you look at your tubing and see if it has a color strip, if it has a green strip then you know you need a .620 fitting which has a green color ends. These tubing's you can get at any box store or hardware store and if you have a irrigation store in town. These are all compression fitting which don't need any glue.
Any questions so far?

Irrigation information

My name is Bruce and I have been in the irrigation business for 10 + years in Arizona.  I have sold irrigation supplies to home owners to large commercial jobs. I have worked the sales counter and heard all the problems that can happen to a irrigation system. The number one problem that I hear is, " How to work my irrigation timer or controller." I have written a handbook on irrigation supplies and how they work, from backflows to sprinkler heads and drip emitters.
So, if you have a question on any of this please ask.
This is my first blog and I will start writing more on irrigation system real soon.
Hope to hear your questions
